The Guildhall was the chosen venue for a bridal fashion photo shoot last weekend. Organised by make up artist Verity James and her trusty team of professionals, including photographer Olivia Whitbread – Roberts and Lydia Hickisson of ‘Elegant Bridal and Occasion Wear’, the artistic shoot captured not only the true beauty of the stunning dresses, modelled so well by Jen Rules-Ailes and Frankii Rogers, but of the Guildhall too. Models Jen and Frankii posed gracefully at different locations around the Guildhall and were joined later in the shoot by more models….this time of the feathered variety!
‘Wings’, a full time professional Dove Release business, based in Helston, brought along a few of their beautiful homing doves to take part in the shoot. The Doves were true stars and behaved impeccably!
It was fantastic to watch the shoot unfold – from the early stages of the models having their hair styled by Ellie Tuck and make up applied by Verity James, to observing the fabulous creativity of talented photographer, Olivia Whitbread-Roberts, as she worked her magic from behind the camera.
Lisa and Ronnie from Wings Dove Release were also true stars – Highly knowledgeable, professional and passionate about their beautiful doves – which added an extra special something to the shoot.
The Guildhall is absolutely delighted to be working with WINGS in the forthcoming months as we start to develop wedding packages. We are thrilled to be able to offer couples the opportunity to release white doves from the Guildhall’s balcony after their wedding ceremony – a wonderfully symbolic and poignant ritual! Please visit our Facebook Page or Wedding Section for more information.
Thank you to all involved for choosing to hold your professional photo shoot at the Guildhall.
