You may be aware of the significant budget challenges that Cornwall Council along with most other Councils across the country is trying to manage. By 2018/19 savings of £196 million will have to be made.

With such a huge challenge on their hands Cornwall Council have to decide where and how to reduce services or increase income. It is vital that communities, partners and businesses put forward their viewpoints and ideas with regards to which services they believe should have priority.
Meetings will be held during October aimed at providing the general public with an opportunity to hear about budget challenges and to discuss needs and priorities. Cornwall Council would like as many people as possible to be involved in budget discussions.
The Hayle & St Ives network meeting will be held on the 29th October at 6pm at St.Uny School, Polmenor Drive, Carbis Bay, St Ives TR26 2SQ.
