Council’s ‘Free For All’ proves popular as ever!

St Ives Town Council’s twice yearly ‘Free For All’ is now firmly established on the calendar.  At each Free for All event, the concert hall of the Guildhall is filled by items of every description (except electrical) from people who longer need them and others find it was just the thing  they were looking for.  The popular event run in March and October attracts a queue of people who with shopping bags at the ready wait patiently in line from early morning ready for the doors to be open sharp at 10am.  Saturdays event (12 October)  was no exception to previous and the hall was virtually cleared of  everything including  bikes and beds within thirty minutes!  The next ‘Free For All’ will be held sometime in March 2014.
